Looking to push harder, carve tighter and unlock the most responsive ride in the Black range? The Advance+ was developed for riders demanding maximum agility, tighter turning radii and a more direct connection to their foil.

With the mast positioned 60 mm further forward than the original Black Standard fuselage and 40 mm further forward than the Advance 20, the Advance+ moves the foil's pivot point closer to the front wing. The result is faster turn initiation, smoother rail-to-rail transitions and a more lively, surf-oriented feel. Much like moving the fins forward on a surfboard, the foil feels more willing to change direction and respond instantly to rider input.

The Advance+ also delivers increased torsional stiffness, particularly noticeable when pumping or riding larger-span wings where precise control and immediate response are critical.

Why doesn't everyone ride the Advance+? The same characteristics that make it feel highly reactive and connected can also make it feel more sensitive in pitch. Riders focused on progression, stability or predictable tracking may prefer the more balanced nature of the Advance 20. The Advance 20 also offers greater yaw stability, requiring less rider input to maintain a locked-in feel when cruising, learning or covering distance.

Choose the Advance 20 if you:

• Prioritize stability and predictability
• Are early in your foiling journey
• Prefer a more planted and forgiving ride
• Not recommended for wings with a larger span than 1150 cm

Choose the Advance+ if you:

• Want maximum manoeuvrability and responsivenes
• Enjoy aggressive carving and tighter turns
• Are looking to push the performance limits of your foil setup
• Recommended for all foil sizes (Fatty more suited to the largest span wings)

Compatible with all foils utilizing the BLACK connection system, the Advance+ features our integrated zinc anode to help reduce corrosion. All required hardware is supplied pre-installed with Tef-Gel applied, making it ready to ride straight out of the included protective bag.

Available in Short (700 mm), Ultrashort (640 mm), Crazyshort (600 mm), Sillyshort (560 mm) and Psychoshort (520 mm).

Note: Moving the mast forward effectively increases the amount of fuselage behind the mast. Riders switching from an Advance 20 to an Advance+ should generally consider reducing fuselage length by one size to maintain a similar overall feel.
